About the host

As co-founder of Visionary Wealth Advisors, an independent wealth management firm headquartered in Illinois, Brett works to create and execute the company’s vision: provide world-class service to our clients and foster a climate that allows us to become the most prestigious wealth management firm in the markets we serve. Brett was instrumental in establishing the company’s core values and culture, which create a positive, energetic environment for our clients, Visionaries and staff.

Prior to Visionary, Brett worked as a financial representative for another firm for thirteen years, the last seven as a Managing Director. He felt his clients needed independent advice and he knew he could serve them better if he had the flexibility to offer unlimited investment opportunities. Upon these guiding principles, he founded Visionary Wealth Advisors with his partner, Tim Hammett, to provide the best possible services and unlimited opportunities for his clients. Brett sees that there is greatness in the lives of every person, and it is the job of a Visionary to help them see it and become inspired by their own vision for their future. Brett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Eastern Illinois University and, along with his wife Julie, founded Swing Fore Hope, a charity that funds cancer research and provides financial assistance to cancer patients.
